I am not the type of guy who feels sorry for people who are miserable, do to their current situation in life. No exceptions! I understand that there are uncontrollable forces at work, and on RARE occasions people are hurled into situations that are dire and hopeless…but feeling sorry for your self is a dead end road better left untraveled.
Most instances of health, wealth, relationship, and happiness “doom and gloom” misfortunes are not of that rare type. They are instead self-inflicted. They are a logical progression of continuously making bad decisions and masking these decisions with excuses.
Over the last couple of years I have noticed a new phenomenon spreading out and gaining traction. People are validating each others’ excuses, giving them substance, and mitigating their own involvement in their calamity. It helps them maintain a self image they can live with, while continuing on whatever fruitless path that they are on.
So… this blog is born. I will focus on the root cause of dismay and unmask the culprits of peril. Maybe some good will come out of it. I will also have a fact or fiction contest once a week. Comments, questions, and stories are welcome and will be addressed. cmj
So u have extra time on your hands to help others out with their issues, good for u. i like your motto seeing things on the bright side, negative people can really wear on me..
ReplyDeletelol...there is never "extra time"...Only "Present Time" - the only thing that matters is what you are doing at this very moment of your existence. "NOW" shapes the future and writes the past.
